other，others, another, the other, the others比较

1. other “其他的，另外的”，范围：三个或三个以上。 other+名词复数，泛指其余的人或物。

Do you have other questions? 你有其他问题吗？

2. others “其他人”，指剩余的另一些人（并非全部），永远表示复数意义，且其后不能再接名词。

相当于other+复数名词。如：

Some people like walking. Some like running. Others like swimming.

有些人喜欢散步，有些人喜欢跑步，其他人喜欢游泳。 (这里“其他人”Others并非其他所有的人。)

3. another “又一（个），另一（个）”，泛指总数为三个或三个以上中的任意一个，another+名词单数。

After the boy eats one apple, he asks for another (one). 小孩吃完一个苹果后又要了一个。

4. the other “（两者中的）另一个”。 常与one连用构成句型： “one…the other…” 一个……，另一个……

He has two sisters. One is a doctor, the other is a teacher.

他有2个姐姐。其中一个是医生，另一个是教师。

5. the others “其他人”, 指剩余所有的人或物（范围大于2人）

相当于 the other+ 复数名词，表示在一定范围内的其余所有的人或物。如：

There are 50 students in the class. Thirty are boy students and the others are girls. 班里三十人是男生，其他人都是女生。

（the others指班里剩下的所有的20个学生）
